re: Here's My Heart

this song has the most beautiful lyrics i've EVER heard in my life. I like listening to lyrics to music as well as the melody, Whoever worte this song had a lot on their mind. every time i hear it, it makes me want to cry. It's so emotional! i love it! i have to admit though, the first time i heard it, i had just changed the station to way fm and the chours had just started i didn't even realize it was Talking to God.

my boyfriend had jsut told me he wanted to marry me and that he wanted me to have his heart. i had to pull my car over into a parking lot and cry! then when i realized the song was talking to God, i cried even more cause, of course, i don't deserve God's love and... well, you know. and so does God and that's wonderful. i just wanted to let you know you have a great song and i get all warm and fuzzyinside every time i hear it!

Dear Out of Eden,

I would like to express deep gratitude in your becoming part of my music family. I have not been a Christian that long and was moved by the sincerity and honesty of your music. The No Turning Back album is Hot!!!!!! I enjoy listening to every song on the album. My favorite song is "Looking for Love". I sing that song almost every day. Also more worthy tracks are "Window", "If You Only Knew", "Open Up Your Heart", and "Draw You Near". It is good to see positive young females that is pushing Christianity. I love you girls very much and I will continue to support you on your efforts. Finally, the most moving song on the album is "Sarah Jane". It relates so much on how most Christians act. God called us to be servants for him. He did not call us to look down on people and to think we are better than them. That was the reason God sent his Son Jesus. Continue to strive to be Christ-like!!!!!

Peace!

Your new fan,

Derrick Thomas

I found your website while searching for the lyrics to the song "Lookin' for Love". I am a friend of Al Baca, (Joy's husband's brother). My sisters and I went to Joy's wedding. It was small and the reception was in his backyard. Al has stayed with my family several times while passing through our small town of Selma, California. Tell him I said, "Hi". I have my own personal website at My Website just in case you want to see my work. It's my first website, but I loved creating it.

Thank you,

Patti

Dear Out of Eden,

Hi, My name is Allen Kirschner, I listen to your music & really enjoy it. I'm 19 years old and I'm starting my second year of Seminary. I am heavily involved with my Church and it's Youth Group, I'm a Youth Leader in the ministry. We have a pretty big youth group about 180 teens and we encourage all of them to listen to your music. I lead the Street Witnessing Team in the Youth Group called Commissioned. I'm in South Florida. I'm writing for 2 major reasons #1 to sincerely "Thank You" for all your good Christian music that is so encouraging, motivating and inspiring to say the least.

The other reason I'm writing is because as I said, I lead a team on the streets giving the gospel out. I've been leading this ministry for the past 3 years. This year I've seen incredible things take place. Recently I planned and organized with one of the kids in my witnessing team for a performance at his Public High School Talent Show. He sung a song that's theme was about coming to God. At the end of the song he preached the gospel and gave an alter call. Right in the middle of the talent show I saw teens and adults stand up, shouting, clapping, lifting up there hands, and crying to receive Christ. It was incredible! Out of about 600 people around 250 stood up and prayed to commit there lives to serve God and receive Jesus' gift of eternal life. I had some people with me, who helped. We handed out a Discipleship/Follow-up booklet we had designed and printed to give to the "Newly Forgiven".

This year, everywhere we go we preach the whole gospel (Sin, Righteousness, Judgment, Hell, Heaven, Death, Burial, Resurrection, Repentance, and forgiveness) to hungry teen's. Since January I have personally led to date 166 people to the Lord outside of the church building, many crying on their knees in repentance towards God. That doesn't touch on the others I weekly take out on the streets, because they take it into their schools, which unfortunately I can't. So the ramifications really are awesome. We are making every effort to disciple these individuals. They get Letters, Postcards, Phone Calls, and I'm beginning some Bible Studies. But a major problem I have constantly seen happen is that the person feels incredibly bad (convicted) about their crimes against God (their sin, breaking God's Law, the Ten Commandments) and repent many times in tears of anguish followed by tears of joy over their forgiveness. They make a radical commitment to God, but most of the time all their friends and influences are carnal, worldly. It's made clearly known to them to turn from sin and turn to righteousness, and their very willing. But those ungodly sinful influences tear them down and away from their initial commitment to Christ. There Godly influences are usually few and far between and aren't easy to come by. I recommend some Christian music, according to their musical flavor (rap, alternative, contemporary, etc.) As 98% of them are teenagers they have little to no income, it's very tough for them to get Christian music (the most time consuming influence to them is their music). They will either listen to the world's delusion's and temptation's into sin in the secular venues or Christian God exalting music that will build them up. Many come from a non-Christian household and their parents will not get them any Christian music nor give them money to purchase any. The other day I was witnessing with a friend, we were talking to 2 kids on a sidewalk we talked for about an hour and a half we explained to them that a relationship with Christ is a lifelong commitment and they need to keep it tight with the Lord.

I explained that a quick prayer will not get their hand stamped to go to Heaven, they need to become followers of Christ. We explained God's love for them but His hate for sin. They understood well what we explained and my friend shared how a big hold that kept from living for God was His secular music, How that music glorified sin and worldliness, everything God hates. We asked what kind of music they liked and the both said rap, before I could recommend some Christian alternative, my friend said "if you promise to go home and break your secular CD's, I'll give you every rap CD in my car" my friend is a Christian music fanatic and had many Christian rap CD's. By the end of the conversation we all knelt on a public sidewalk and prayed together. That was wonderful and we saw God move, but what about tomorrow when we don't have any Christian music left, a day never goes by when I don't witness, these kid's need Godly influence, church is wonderful to equip and encourage them and the fellowship is necessary. But they need Christian music. I said, all that so you could know how God is moving and the need to get Christian music into there hands. I know your music, it's fantastic and I'm asking if you have any CD's or Tapes that you can donate to give to these precious young souls. The need is worthy and I believe your in this with me to build people up. Anything you are able to give would be wonderful & a blessing. I assure you that the CD's or Tapes won't be resold or anything like that.

It will all be given free, in the name of Jesus. I can arrange for you to speak to my Pastor if desired. So please here my cry to build up new converts and your gifts will definitely glorify God and build these young people up in their faith. I'm going to take pictures with those who receive the Lord with the CD's in their hands and mail you copies of hundreds of souls with your music in their hands. I can't tell you how it touches someone when they see Jesus and giving intertwined in 1 act, it makes'em cry because of the love of God expressed in giving. OK enough preaching, I'm just so passionate about these people, Thank you so much I know this will have eternal results and rewards.

Your Brother in Christ, Allen Kirschner -

From VanDenBerg

First I want to thank you for your site, witch is so full of information and interactivities. (Please don't look at my English, I'm Dutch and right now I am a bit sick of English, I learned this afternoon for my test on next Wednesday). I want to give a review on the album "More than you know". There's a little story attached to this. We moved two years ago and when a was painting the walls in my new room, a bit of paint dropped on this cd. I tried to clean it, but it didn't turn out well. My Cd-player wasn't able to play to cd anymore. No I downloaded the cd from Napster. I think this is legitimate, because at first I paid for the cd. Now I lister to it all the time.

The song "it's me" is a very good song. The text inspires me and then I remember that I need God, in anyway. My mind is open to God, he knows the truth and what's in my heart. But I always turn from God. In this songs God asks me why.

"You brought the sunshine" is a song witch makes me very happy and lifts me up.

"Confused" is about the misery and misunderstanding in life. It's also about hiding your feeling to others:

'Late at night I cry and wonder why my life's goin' nowhere. But during the day everything is okay, I'm having it my way.'

"Then and only then" tells us how we can reach peace and harmony in such a dirty world. We have to pray to God and sacrifice our lives, then and only then can we live in perfect harmony.

"can't let go" is a song that tells what is real; I can never let go of God. My faith isn't there yet, but I sometimes feel that God excists.

Most of the times I'm very scared of him, because of all my sins. Then I'm afraid that it's the last day, and that my time's up. Maybe it's a bit strange, but this is what the songs mean to me

Kind regards,

Marien

I used to go to church with them back in the late 80's - when they were just "Lisa", "Andrea", and "Joy". Their mother has an awesome voice, and she is a classic pianist. She has a tape out too. It's called "Never Be the Same". BELIEVE IT OR NOT :^)
